Little Hands

ABOUT:

Caroline Sullivan: owner/operator at the daycare.  Little Hands was a dream, after 8 years of a licensed, in home daycare, it was time to expand, I have always wanted a center, to be able to teach and share.  I purchased the current building in October of 1996 and after a remodel of the garage area we opened our doors in February 1997.  Hundreds of children have passed thru my doors over the last 26 years, and I am proud of all these kids and with the help of technology I am able to keep in touch with most of them!  I am married to a wonderful man, who gives his all to help me out and we have 3 great daughters who have all at some point, worked here! 

 

Kayla Johnson:  provider/teacher at the daycare.  Kayla has been at the daycare

since 2006, first filling in then becoming the preschool teacher in the 'Big Room'.  She has wonderful ideas and uses her creativity to teach the children thru song and fingerplay.  She gives unselfishly of her time and talent, we are proud to have her on staff.  Kayla is married to Andrew and they have a wonderful son, Bryce, who attends daycare here also.

 

Nancy McGregor:  provider at the daycare.  Nancy has worked in my infant/toddler room since 1998.  She has been an asset to the daycare since day one!  Nancy has added that 'Grandma' character to our mix that parents just love.  She retired a couple years ago and when she heard I was looking to hire recently she decided she wanted to come back and without hesitation we jumped on that! 

 

Kim Baumann: provider at the daycare.  Kim began her carreer in daycare as a nanny in Marshfield, Wisconsin from Jun 2009 to Oct 2012 before beginning with us in November of 2012.  Kim attended Northern Michigan University and pursued classes in the Early Childhood program.  Kim uses her skills with the infants/toddlers and has them crafting projects at an early age.   The parents adore Kim and we are proud to have her on staff.

 

Kristy Cross:  a provider at the daycare and our most recent addition to the staff!  Kristy has two boys of her own, ages 10 years and 5 years, graduated from Bay College in 2012 with an Associate of the Arts degree with background in Human Services.  She brings a breath of fresh air and fun to the setting and we can't wait to see the new things we will be able to do with Kristy on staff!
